Avancen MOD Corporation was formed in December 2008 as a South Carolina "C" Corporation. In early 2009 the Avancen MOD Corporation acquired the Medication on Demand (MOD®) enterprise from a Florida LLC for the assumption of debt and common stock. The MOD® enterprise included, but was not limited to, all patent rights, trademarks, intellectual property, software, an injection mold, a motherboard design, inventory, website/domain, business agreements, and all other items of value associated with the MOD® device or its development.

As a company, Avancen is focusing on marketable product design and launching leading-edge medical devices that are designed to benefit both the healthcare industry and the patients it serves by improving patient bedside care, comfort, and convenience. For the MOD® and other products currently in development and testing, Avancen is working with highly capable industry-leading turnkey manufacturers. This allows the Company to produce its patented devices and related patented disposable products in the most cost efficient and economical manner.
